DESCRIPTION:Pick It Up\, Portland! is a two-day\, city-wide event focusing on litter removal throughout our community. \n \n\nThe Sustainability Committee of Oregon & SW Washington would love to have you come out and represent IFMA in a very practical\, tangible way.\n\n 	On Friday\, June 21st. This event will begin in the north parking lot of OMSI with volunteers removing litter from the surrounding neighborhood. Help keep our city and environment clean to ensure it can be enjoyed by all!\n 	Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.\n 	Meeting Location: We will be meeting in the north parking lot of OMSI. Look for SOLVE signs.\n 	Address: 1945 SE Water Ave. Portland\, OR 97214 | Map Link\n 	What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing\, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.\n 	What’s Provided: SOLVE will provide trash grabbers\, trash bags\, work gloves\, and high-vis vests.\n 	Restrooms: No public restrooms are available\n 	Parking: Paid parking will be available in the parking lot. Street parking is also available.\n 	Transit: Trimet bus line #6\n 	Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.\n 	Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.\n 	Participant Age Guidelines: Volunteers 17 and under must be accompanied by an authorized adult.
