Committees

IFMA’s Membership Committee is comprised of IFMA’s Board of Directors and focuses on the association’s growth and retention, which is critical to the industry for the socialization of IFMA’s insights and best practice work.

The Programs Committee plans our chapter programs. The primary goal of this committee is to address the educational needs of our professional members through monthly presentations where members learn best practices in Facilities Management.

The IFMA Golf Committee is responsible for coordinating the chapter’s annual golf tournament “Neil Moodhe Golf Tournament”. The tournament is a combination of sport and fun that aims to strengthen chapter membership and promote facility management as a degree program.

The Special Events Committee at the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) organizes, promotes, and coordinates events. These events include: 

  • Annual Holiday Awards Gala
  • Annual Board Retreat

The committee’s goals are to: 

  • Encourage social interaction and networking
  • Provide an atmosphere that promotes professional development
  • Ensure that membership members know they are the backbone of the organization
  • Ensure member retention and attraction

The committee members are responsible for: 

  • Planning and executing events
  • Organizing programs, food, beverages, entertainment, decorations, door prizes, and sponsorships
  • Assisting with post-production follow-up

The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) has a marketing committee that includes marketing and sales professionals from the manufacturer community.

South Valley advances the practice of facility management by creating a supportive community that empowers members to excel in their roles. We strive to be a hub for expertise, innovation, and networking within the South Valley Oregon facility management community.

The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) has a Sustainability Committee that reviews and makes recommendations to the board on the company’s sustainability strategy and performance.
