President’s Message
Charting the Road Ahead Together
Dear IFMA Oregon & SW Washington Chapter Members,
It is an honor to begin serving as Chapter President for the 2026–2027 term. As we start this new year together, I want to recognize the leadership, volunteer effort, sponsor support, and member engagement that have helped build the momentum we carry today.
My vision for the year ahead is to chart the road ahead together while sustaining that momentum, providing steady leadership, and strengthening the collaborative culture that makes IFMA OSWW such a valuable professional community, one where members feel welcomed, connected, supported, and encouraged to contribute in meaningful ways.
This year, our focus will be on creating more value, connection, and opportunity for members. That includes supporting Board and Committee volunteers with clearer systems, improving event planning and budgeting processes, strengthening communication, and continuing to deliver programming that reflects the needs of facility management professionals across our region.
We will also continue building on membership momentum through meaningful outreach, stronger onboarding, improved renewal touchpoints, updated sponsorship opportunities, and greater visibility for associate members. Professional development will remain central as we support credential pathways, scholarships, study groups, mentorship, committee leadership, and opportunities for emerging professionals.
I encourage each of you to be part of the year ahead. Attend an event, invite a colleague, join a committee, volunteer for a program, share an idea, or help welcome someone new. The strength of IFMA OSWW has always come from members who show up for one another, and the road ahead will be strongest when we chart it together.
Thank you for your continued support and engagement. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as your Chapter President and excited for what we will accomplish together this year.
Warm regards,
Steven Bradshaw
President, IFMA Oregon & SW Washington Chapter
